I am sorry that you did not have a great stay. We're going through a challenging period to get the hotel renovated (1/4 done) and it clearly frustrated you, I am sorry.

Like most downtown hotels in Nanaimo, we restrict access to the building for people with key card access. We do this more to lessen the traffic to the washrooms for non-hotels guests late night.
