Great hosts nice and clean room

We had a great stay the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Rooms were amazingly clean maybe slightly dated but very clean. We will be back

Handy location

Cheap (ish) and cheerful, handy to walk into Napier. Bit noisy-monroe is quite busy and the lot behind had noisy lorries. Room smelled damp, hate shower curtains as they also smell. Cooker in kitchen

Läget är toppen, bara en kort promenad till centrum och nära en supernarket. Sköna sängar, tyst och lugnt.

Very clean and tidy. Great for an overnight stay.

We just had a quick overnight stay. It was ideal for our family of six with cooking facilities etc. Very clean and well presented.

Good budget-ish place. Bear in mind no aircon / heatpumps. Soap dispenser in shower had run out which was a bit tricky when I had to be leaving very early, but managed to get a few little dregs out of it to have a mostly effective shower. Free WiFi and good selection of TV channels.

Convenient, clean, but sometimes... no wifi

Nice clean hotel, but after 6pm, no more wifi. Went to reception a couple of times but they did nothing. Didn't offer a new code (in case the code wasn't working, didn't reset it either) The following day, they told me that it was probably due to all those young people that have plenty of gadgets and busied the wifi... Sure... Anyway; nice place, but not if you want to connect.

Convenient and clean

Clean and convenient- very near to Napier town (10 min walk), room smaller than others but perfectly pleasant. Checkin process was smooth. Only downside is no hairdryer!

Location, location, location

The location of the motel was excellent, and we had plenty of space for our family. The amenities could do with an update, kitchen and bathroom are quite dated. We were also right by the road which was a bit noisy, but that was made up for by the convenience of being close to the centre of town.

Cozy neat 70's motel :)

At first I was skeptical of the motels because of the movies, but the couple that manage this motel was very friendly, the room very clean and neat, although the motel it is like a 70's motel is very neat and does not look old nor bad conditions, great stay. I was a bit worried because there are glass doors directly to the parking lot, but New Zealand it is a safe place so nothing happened. It is near the Aquarium but not so near from the downtown. But in general good experience if you have to be at the aquarium early, this is definitely a strong choice

Close to City and Beach

An older motel, rooms are getting tired but very clean and functional and the motel owners were very helpful and welcoming. A bit of traffic/train noise but not bad given it's proximity to city. Parking was ok tho better for smaller vehicles - our Prado was a bit long to park in front of our unit so we parked at the rear. Rooms have a verandah and chair, no view. Location was excellent as was a short walk to beach and restaurants etc. If you are looking for cheap, clean accommodation that is close to town then this hits the spot

Location, Location, Location

The best part about this motel is it's location near downtown Napier and the magnificent Art Deco buildings along the main streets. Lots of shopping, restaurant, beach-access, museums, Clive square and park, Farmer's market. No airconditioning and only a few TV stations. Older motel but worth the lack of amenities for the great location.

Cheap and tidy, nicely functional accomodation.

Lovely check-in, utilitarian facilities maintained to a very good level. It's nothing fancy but suited us well.

Excellent Motel, Friendly Staff

We found this to be a very pleasant experience, Clean motel, warm and inviting and good facilities. close to Marine Parade so great for taking the kids for a walk along there..very enjoyable and recommend this motel to others and will be back here when next in Napier. Thank you for the pleasant stay

close to city centre

Tired and run down basic motel but very clean. I would rate as 2/3 stars. Difficult to park in motel as driveway narrow. Ask for quiet unit. We were on the road front and it was too noisy to open windows in 27 degree heat.

Comfortable well sized room

Good location virtually in the city centre. Comfortable, clean room well equipped, very comfy bed. Nice reception staff. Would stay there again. Nicer than the pictures on the web might suggest.

Good Location, Good Price...

Check in was pleasant, the room was spotless.. There is a full kitchen which is a bonus... But... the place is aged and so are we, (mid 70s) so we enjoyed our stay there..
