An Unforgettable Sanctuary in Narendra Nagar — Plus World-Class Driving! My husband and I just returned from the most wonderful stay at MoSham’s in Narendra Nagar. From the moment we arrived, Sharmila and Mohit were consummate hosts who made us feel genuinely welcome. Sharmila helped us tailor our sightseeing itinerary to make the absolute most of our trip, and every single recommendation she made was spot-on. The property itself is gorgeous, featuring rooms that strike the perfect balance between elegance and warmth. We stayed in a suite with its own private lanai and a beautiful pool, which was an absolute highlight of our stay. The dining experience was equally extraordinary. MoSham’s chef crafts incredible meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with perfectly balanced spices in every dish. The Butter Chicken was unlike any we’ve tasted before, the Mutton Rogan Josh was deeply savory, and the Chicken Tikka sandwich became my ultimate lunch favorite! A Very Special Mention for Our Driver, Prem; We knew we were in great hands from the second Prem met us at the Dehradun airport. He navigated the mountain roads of Narendra Nagar smoothly, deftly wove through Rishikesh traffic, and turned our day trip to Devprayag to see the birthplace of the Ganges River into a total joy. Prem’s calm demeanor and gentle spirit made every journey reassuringly peaceful. If you are visiting and need a driver, Prem is the absolute best person to have.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at MoShams, and I can confidently say that it’s an ideal choice for anyone seeking a peaceful, serene, and luxurious getaway. The Garhwali Thali was a true highlight and the masala omelette for breakfast was equally delightful. My stay was absolutely magical. The property is in immaculate condition. The owners, Mohit and Sharmila, are salt-of-the-earth people—very heart-centered and so welcoming. The staff and the taxi driver they recommend are just as friendly. My stay was incredible; I have food restrictions as I am vegan and gluten-free, and the chef made each dish for me with so much love. If you are looking for the ultimate experience while in Rishikesh, I highly recommend this property. For a form of exercise I did stair climbing on the property that allowed me to have a great work out. I loved my stay so much that I booked another week at the tail end of my vacation. It is such a wonderful place to be if you are looking for peace, tranquility, and to be surrounded by people who radiate beautiful energy and the magic of the mountains."

We’ve just spent three wonderful nights in the hills above Rishikesh at Moshams, and it was exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Delhi and Haridwar. The hosts and staff were exceptional, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. We came as guests and left as friends—a truly special experience that we’ll always remember. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and spotlessly clean. Both of our rooms had stunning views over the surrounding countryside and down to Rishikesh below. Ours had a little plunge pool on the balcony and this then opened out onto the patio area around the main pool area. Just one of the many clever design features. The food was excellent, freshly prepared each day by the on-site chef. We’re now in the noise and chaos of Rishikesh, a beautiful town, but it highlights how peaceful and tranquil it felt sitting high up in the hills looking down on where we are tonight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could give them more stars I would!!! When I was originally booking this from back home in America, I thought it looked perfect. So far they have exceeded my expectations. From the booking to our arrival, everything has been amazing! The service is top notch. The food is insanely delicious. They have gone above and beyond with accommodations. The rooms are beautiful. The pool is serene. The property is gorgeous. They’ve helped us book activities and arrange transportation, everything a foreigner might need help with! I am sad to be leaving. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing stay at Moshams recently on a mom and daughter’s trip to Rishikesh. It is run by a sweet couple, Sharmila and Mohit who truly make the property welcoming and full of charm. From the time we booked the property, they engaged with us to arrange transportation, food and activity options and shared insights into local sites. The rooms were spacious with big, clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the clean waters of the pool. Special mention to the chef, Mr.Narendra who cooked some of the best food we have eaten with fresh, local ingredients - the Pahadi thali is a must try! Sharmila went out of her way to get medicine for my sister who had a bout of ill health, much appreciated!!! All in all, Moshams scores in hospitality, curated food and a quiet, pristine location. The treks we did near the property were a lot of fun! Highly recommend Moshams to anyone visiting Rishikesh!
