Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
A beautiful escape with incredible potential, though some operations need refining! The exterior of the barn is stunning and the rooms are okay. The property has a peaceful vibe with the caretaker being welcoming and attentive to our needs. However, the kitchen experience needs work. The service is quite slow, and they would really benefit from focusing on a few specific dishes to perfect their menu rather than offering too much at once. Also, if you are sitting in the penthouse lounge, the chimney tends to bring smoke back into the seating area, which makes it uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi was also very slow. Finally, the penthouse offering seems like an afterthought, with the bedroom having no view and the lounge having no TV.
