The Capitol Hotel Downtown, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"We considered The Capitol Hotel in the good category with an excellent hot breakfast. It was actually more like a motel with a majority of rooms that opened from the outside and no pool, hot tub or fitness center, etc. we saw or was mentioned at check-in. It had no self-parking on-site with only Valet parking at $38 a day or self-park a block or more away. Staff was friendly and helpful overall.
Our room was comfortable and clean except for the strong odor coming from the vinyl flooring. There was no microwave in our room and there was some noise outside until midnight."
"Great clean place. Starbucks is a plus in the morning. One morning of our trip Starbucks opened about 20 min late because staff was late. All in all great though. The valet drivers were all top notch"
"Wonderful place to stay. Walkable to everything so just park your car and no need to fight the traffic. Very nice check in and Oshane was was very helpful and was able to check in early. Will definitely stay here again."
