โAn absolutely fantastic place to stay in Bucharest. Very nice part of town, across the street from a fantastic restaurant and a wonderful, very large park on a lake. Easy walking to many dining, shopping and experience options. My room was absolutely fabulous, four stars plus for sure. Most of all, the service was excellent. Ask and you shall receive! โ
โA great location - 10 mins from the old town and 5 mins to a tube station. We only used tge tube on one day and walked to everything else. Reception are supposed to be there 7am to 7pm, but seem to wander off! However, they are very speedy to arrive if you WhatsApp or ring the number displayed. It's a small hotel (18 rooms) so that's why there isn't a 24 hour reception. Everything is very new with lovely feather pillows and duvets and a nice bathroom with fluffy towels. Rooms cleaned well...
โThe location is excellent and the suite is large, comfortable, and quiet. While the area outside is surrounded by nightlife, it is silent inside the suite. It is a short walk from public transportation and many sites. The staff are communicative and were very helpful in arranging airport pickup. I highly recommend Matisse Bucharest Old Town. โ
โBreakfast was a little disappointing, there were only 2 people eating, and the staff wasn't interested in replenishing the food, but the hotel itself is lovely, clean, warm, very good location โ
