Basic budget hotel wit 5 star hositality. The location is great. The hotel is right on the beach. The owner and staff make you feel at home and they cook fresh low cost meals twice a day

The location is good but the condition of Room and facilities Zero. Food is OK . The service is friendly as it is a family administrated , Need alot of improvements in the room, sitting furniture , but the location of the beach is beautiful and one can really enjoy the cool breeze.

Menetteli.

Yhden yön stopiksi menetteli. Huone törkyinen ja lakanat likaiset. Otettiin huone ilman ilmastointia, joten huoneesta vietiin ilmastoinnin kaukosäädin pois. Samasta huoneesta veloitettiin 10€ enemmin ilmastoinnilla.. Pärjäsimme hyvin pelkän tuulettimen kanssa, huvitti vain toiminta. Söimme hotellin ravintolassa, ainoina asiakkaina saimme silti odottaa lähemmäs 2tuntia ruokia (club sandwichit ranskalaisilla). Palvelu muutenkin kovin hidasta ja vaivalloista.

Very bad and dirty hotel

This is not a hotel here, it's a dirty chicken place where you can expect nothing but dirty room, dirty bathroom and a bed with brown- red dirty spots on it.. Bugs are also to be seen and ants too. Never take this unless you are searching something less then camping or you are gong to die in Sri Lanka!!

Vi har gjort 74 resor runt om i världen och detta hotell var absolut det sämsta av alla. Vi bodde på rum 109 som var skitigt, ventilationen fungerade inte och heller inte varmvattnet i duschen som också den var vedervärdig. Gardinerna var säkert inte bytta på de senaste 10 åren. Fönstren var säkert inte tvättade på åratal. Frukosten bestod av 2 stekta ägg (ingen fråga om hur vi ville ha dem) och 2 stackars brödskivor samt kaffe. Vi köpte 4 nätter av Er men efter första natten var vi tvungna att söka oss till annat hotell om vi inte skulle bli sjuka. Vi vet inte hur Ni bedömer och sätter stjärnor på hotellen men 2½ stjärna för detta hotell bedömer vi vara allt för högt.

The friendliest staff on the Negombo Beach

I actually booked this hotel, simply because it was the cheapest in Negombo Beach on hotels.com and I where just planning to land on my feet after the long flight down there on this hotel. But I was really pleasently surpriced, what I got for my money here and ended up staying for one week. At the front the hotel reception and restaurant is one tall and typically Sri Lankan open plan building, where you can go and eat, use the WiFi or talk to owners, staff or guest in a relaxed atmosphere. Down a narrow road is the actual rooms of the hotel located to one side at a big wellmaintained garden with a gate to the beach and all guests actually has a little terrase from where he or she can overlook the beach and still be in shade or away from the rain. The famous Browns Beach is only a 15 minutes walk up the beautiful beach, but I recommend to rent a bicycle on the hotel, simply to avoid all the hustlers on Negombo Beach. If you stay in Sri Lanka long term, you can actually buy brand new bicycle or moped in Negombo town for very little money, which I intend to do next time. The scoop of Ceylonica Beach Hotel is however, that this hotel probably has the friendliest staff and owner couple at any hotel, I have ever been at anywhere. The rooms do need an overhall, but don't let this put you down, because they are getting a renovation just now and should be completely done already in March 2015

Fik ikke havd vi betalte for.

Vi havde hjemmefra betalt ekstra for aircondition, men dette fik vi ikke, vi skulle betale 20 dollars ekstra for at for at få det. Lagnerne var meget beskidte og badeværelset var meget uhygiejnisk. Der var en fan i loftet som gjorde det muligt at opholde sig på værelset uden at gå til, men den larmede helt vildt, så det var stort set umuligt at få noget søvn, på trods af ørepropper.
