"Very convenient location, with free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful historic building. Swimming pool and jacuzzi very welcome after a day's exploring the city. The heritage nature of the building means the rooms are a bit small with limited natural light. And the soundproofing between rooms is weak. We could hear our neighbour coughing all night and chairs being moved around upstairs."

There are no doormen or bellboys, such staff would be very helpful navigating the 15 or so steep steps from the street to the lobby. There is no complimentary water in the room. The shower is in the bath. Used glasses were not cleaned or replaced. The room is of good size and the beds are comfortable. Location is good."
