This is good for a brief and mostly comfortable stay in Mbombela. The room is really small, but well laid out and the AC works well. The wifi was not great but okay, and the hotel does have a backup generator if needed. The staff were mostly friendly, but more care can be taken to explain about the property at check-in, or even provide a statement at checkout (still waiting for that to be emailed to me). The pool is nice although it was pretty much taken over by people who brought their own music speakers making it unpleasant for hotel guests. The door key cards kept erroring out, which meant going back to reception multiple times, and there is no elevator for anyone with disabilities or heavy bags. Price wise the hotel was reasonable, but onsite food and drink is pricey.

Bad stay @ Town Lodge Mbombela

Booked 3 x non-smoking rooms, were allocated 3 x very bad smelling smoking rooms. Booked 6 months in advance, booking confirmation showed non-smoking. Town Lodge refused to move us. Breakfast very expensive for what you get.

Perfectly fine place to stay when out and about in Nelspurit. Or is it Mbombela? Only drawback was the TV channel options were terrible when we wanted to unwind before bed.

Foi uma experiência ruim! Não achavam a minha reserva, e mesmo eu falando que tinha, tive que eu mesma contactar o hotels.com e resolver meu problema, depois de 1 hora conseguir fazer o check in. Não entendi a nota do hotel... a cama é muiuuuito pequena, e não existe outra opção de cama e tem muito barulho nos corredores! Foi uma péssima noite!
