Highly recommend this hotel! The staff were very nice and friendly, the breakfast was really good, and the hotel was clean. It’s also only about 5 minutes away from downtown Cappadocia. Our flight was 7 hours after checkout, and the staff kindly let us stay for an extra hour and kept our luggage while we went out to walk around. Later we came back and were able to relax in the hotel’s backyard. The staff were so kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Overall I’m very happy with this hotel and importantly it has a beautiful view of the hot air balloons! 🎈

We booked this hotel rather last minute as we wanted to extend our time in Cappadocia and have a day by the pool. We searched high and low and finally settled on Sobek Stone House. We couldn’t have been happier about our decision! In my opinion this is the best pool. Beautifully designed and sunny at all times of the day. We woke up to the hot air balloons taking off right outside the property. The room itself was beautiful and very comfortable. The bed was a 10/10 for us and great water pressure in the shower. The staff were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

we stay a couple of nights . Hotel is in a good position to visit the town, attractions. The attention to detail in the hotel is excellent, especially the artwork on the walls. breakfast was adequate to get the day off to a good start. The bed was very comfortable.

Great personnel

Excellent, friendly, very helpfull personnel, especially in reception. Helped crucially to plan our day - to catch the main attractions in one long day by car. Contacted us immediately after booking, to inform that the family room we booked, is not accessible by weelchair/walker. Nice looking hotell, good location, very clean.

The hotel is a bit out of the way overall we loved the hotel the breakfast was exceptional however some of our stay was a bit disappointing no air con as they had switched to winter mode no cleaning of outdoor pool for same reason it was 23 degrees it took 3 days to fix a running water from toilet cistern the restaurant for evening meal poor customer experience saying all of that I would definitely stay there again

The property was amazing! It was much better than expected! The hotel and the room was very well designed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful - we even had an impromptu magic show! The outdoor pool isn't heated and is right next to the outdoor dining, but it was so refreshing to get in during the hot summer. We ate at the hotel for all our meals. Breakfast was a very good buffet, and then for lunch and dinner we had so many delicious options to choose from. So people are aware, for a/c in the summer, change the a/c setting to the "diamond" looking option. And there is both an indoor and an outdoor pool that are open depending on the season. I will definitely stay here again!

Design of hotel is very nice, compared to other hotel in cave style. The room is very big and clean, with a little balcony, fridge, teapot but one cup for 2 people, a double bed, sofa and a chair. Room offers privacy, we didn’t hear any loud noises. The shower is very small, smaller than in hotel rooms of smaller size and the shower head was broken. The hotel is only 3 floors height so there is no lift. It has a rooftop from which you can watch air balloons on sunrise. Breakfast provides local food, many cheeses, and offers more of salty food than sweet. Drinks are limited, just water, tea, coffee, orange juice and pomegranate juice (both juices very diluted) and milk. Breakfast starts very late at 8.15 and if you go to hot air balloons you have to wait for 1 hour before you can eat. Hotel has pool but it is not very big.

Amazing hotel on the edge of goreme. Rooftop accès to watch the hot air balloons in the morning. Gorgeous looking hotel as well, many wedding photographers came for pictures during our stay. We had a cave style room which was huge and stayed cool even with the 39°C temperatures we had during our stay! Pool was a must considering the heat. Breakfast buffet was huge or a Turkish breakfast was served if hotel was at low capacity! In both cases was really good
