"CHECK BEFORE YOU BOOK! We booked and received confirmation on accommodation at Oaks Cypress Lakes, only to receive an email from their sister property Elysia Wellness 5 days before the trip advising they were excited for our stay. The room type we selected was NOT at Oaks but at the Elysia Resort - but this was not identified in any initial booking or accom confirmations. Both properties were nice but just be aware as they're two very different places."

"Great modern property and location was the best we have experienced in the Hunter to date. Would have been 5 starts all round, except upon arrival we had a drainage issue in one of the bathrooms (which happens), and the smell was horrible. The issue for me was, there was no urgency for the staff to fix it and it took too long for someone to come out. It should have been and absolute priority when a guest is paying for a 3 bedroom house and 1 bedroom bathroom stinks! This part was upsetting, no...
