“Not impressed with the all paper/plastic plates, bowls and utensils, particularly the utensils which were too light/small. The breakfast itself was OK but totally mass produced - no feeling of personal service that we have experienced in many other hotels, particularly those that have a chef on hand for eggs, bacon, etc.”

“The chocolate cake in the restaurant was dry and I didn’t like it. Our waitress was excellent. She took it off of our bill and took her feedback graciously we couldn’t have asked for more.”

“My room was clean and bright. It looked like it had been renovated recently. The lobby and other spaces were under construction. The temporary lobby and breakfast space were cramped. The noise level from construction machines was extremely loud when we were checking in. I was concerned for the staff and the damage to their hearing. Not good. Parking was spacious. Outside signage for the entrance door was not clear. ”

“Room felt small without a comfortable chair to sit. You are either sitting on the bed or at the desk. Rooms weren't particularly sound proof as I could hear right thru the wall (although I couldn't hear any highway noise). Very convenient location. Very clean and pleasant staff.”

“Elizabeth and Glen are wonderful Inn Keepers. The Sea Bank House was pristine and the rooms were very well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location was ideal. ”

“Great spot to land in New Glasgow. Centrally located with included free parking, and an easy walk to downtown food, drink, and entertainment. Guest room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spectacular with waterfall shower, spotless cleaning, and included toiletries. The grab-and-go breakfast as well as in-room coffee (with creamers in the mini fridge! yay) was very convenient for getting out the door quickly. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area! “Hotel staff pleasant, convenient location. However, was disappointed to be given a room in the "annex" building, while initially I was expecting to stay in the hotel. The annex building room was clean and quiet, however the building could use a bit of sprucing up.”

There was a musty smell that hit you upon entering the room (instructions for dehumidifier to run were posted but it was not running upon entrance). There was a mouse trap under the sink, not what you want to see in a rental space. Breakfast was not provided. The door to the main area where the INCLUDED breakfast was located was locked upon our first try and when it was...

“A lovely stay at this Motel. Good price!Room was very clean and modern. Comfortable beds, good shower, very quiet and very clean. Nice to have a small kitchenette with toaster, coffee maker, microwave, small fridge, sink and some dishes. We quite enjoyed our stay!”

“I spoke with a number a people that stayed for the weekend. They were all disappointed in the cleaning. The building are getting older and are being run down . Two burn on the store didn’t work . The seal on the wood stove needs to be replace as it was a windy night and the house filled with smoke . Checkout time was 11 am . Clocks went ahead Saturday night . The staff in a truck stopped beside our cabin looked at his watch at 11:15 . It was if he wanted us out asap. 6 people checking out taking...
