"This is a clean and safe property located conveniently close to Times Square and Hell's Kitchen. My room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a solo traveler. I arrived early and my room was not ready, but the agent at the front desk took my phone number and promised to text me when it was ready. I didn't have to wait long and was not charged an early check-in fee.
I also appreciated the security that requires people staying at the hotel to swipe their card in the elevator and only allows them to choose the floor where they are staying. That's a safety feature that I don't often find in cost-conscious hotel properties.
The lounge area on the lobby level was a warm environment where many guests hung out. Both days I spent my morning hours with my latte and checking my email on my tablet.
The Pod Times Square is perfect for cost-conscious travelers!"
"Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Times Square!
We had a wonderful stay at the New York Marriott Marquis. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Times Square, with Broadway theatres, restaurants, shops, major attractions and subway access all within easy walking distance.
The views are spectacular, especially from the higher floors overlooking Times Square and the Manhattan skyline at night. The hotel is modern, spacious and well maintained, with comfortable rooms, great dining options, excellent amenities and fitness facilities.
It’s a perfect choice for families, first-time visitors or anyone wanting to explore Midtown and enjoy Broadway. Tip: request a higher-floor room with a Times Square or city view if available—it’s absolutely worth it.
Overall, an excellent combination of location, comfort, amenities, convenience and amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"The facility really is in the best location if you want to be in the heart of Times Square! The staff were excellent and helpful…and the room served its purpose…kind of reminded me of a studio brownstone apartment…"
"I had a great weekend in NYC. Row NYC was a big reason for this. The hotel is located in a great location. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I hope to return one day in the future."
"Fantastic location. Travelled from
JFK on Air Train and then LIRR to Grand Central and walked straight into the hotel. The staff were wonderful and did everything they could to make our special trip celebrating birthdays incredibly memorable!"
"The location was amazing so close to Times Square and broadway shows. You could walk to Madison square garden and the Empire State building.
Comfortable beds and clean. Rooms could use an update but would stay there again."
