"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. "Water pressure problems throughout our stay. Hit water coming through both cold and hot taps. We had no shower for the duration of our stay. Kitchen sink has no hot water so we had to wash the dishes with cold water. Boiler noisy and once it was on, the leak was coming through the ceiling. We had switched the boiler off on the last night of the stay due to the noise and the safety concern due to the extreme not water running from both hot and cold taps in the bathroom. "On the beach- it felt like people were walking on your front garden. Beautiful home and everything thought of- tea bags, coffee and wine included. Great communication throughout. Clean, washing machine and bleach etc all there. Loved it and it’s location. Parking a bit of a bother and luck (being in October!)"

"The room was great. Huge balcony overlooking the English Channel. Even the bathroom had a balcony. Good size modern bathroom with plenty of mirror space and nice shower. Check in desk staff was great. Bar staff friendly. Dinner (steaks and my son had a burger) at restaurant was very good. Taxis are a big problem. Sat for an hour 3 times waiting for a taxi. Almost couldn’t get one to the train station when it was time to leave. No Ubers or bus. No other options I was told by the desk clerk with no empathy. Different desk clerk than when we checked in. Fortunately I called the taxi driver we had already used and he made it a priority to get us to the train on time to catch our flight. Other than that I was very pleased with the hotel. Dover just needs Uber or more taxis. Call for a taxi LONG before you need one and expect to wait. Thank God we headed to the train station early that day. They had told us no cruise ships in port so it wouldn’t be a problem getting a taxi. That turned out to be wrong. It was raining lightly and I was told they were all doing school runs. "

"A beautiful property with quaint gardens within the grounds. Room was for four of us, we had a double bed and a bunk. It was a small room but perfect for us. Bright, airy, and clean with an ensuite shower. Breakfast was included and was a great selection of hot, fresh fruit, cereals with coffee and juices. Would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommended."
