“Parking was great. Food was excellent but we had a long wait for our dinner as there was only one chef on duty. He did his very best. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. ”

And when we left in the morning there was no one around to ask how to get there if we drove as we didn't have much time. We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one.”

“De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). Things I loved: All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room. “The food was really good, especially the breakfast but that was the only positive. The room that I was allocated ( room 6) looked good if dated, with lots of sockets but no USB charging points, it had a huge bed which was too soft for me but would suit others and that’s when it went down hill. There was a noise every 30 seconds or so like the room above me was flushing its toilets. I thought it would eventually stop but no. In the end I asked for a change of room and was asked if I had touched...
