"we enjoyed our stay and were happy to have found a place to stay on short notice. We enjoyed the free breakfast every morning, the free underground parking. We had a “deluxe “ suite but not sure why it is called deluxe. It was an average room supposedly overlooking the “garden” which seemed overgrown and looked out at chairs covered up with garbage bags. The bathroom has a tub shower which is not ideal for seniors. The hotel seems to be trying numerous themes or styles and fails to do well at choosing one. They have asian, zen, middle eastern, whisky bar, beachy, tea room, jazz, royalty. gold taps in the bathroom, shrouds on hall tables. Lots of areas look cluttered and dark. A person with a keen eye for design could do wonders for this hotel. We did sleep well at night and it was quiet and convenient to many highlights in the Nanaimo/Parksville area"

"The staff made the whole experience different. We had no idea what to do but the staff gave quite a bit of good advice. The unit itself was a bit tricky as the paintings were all gone for some reason, but have easy access to outdoor pool, beach, etc. We wish they didn’t run out of coffee mate or had the restaurant open. A lot of indoor/ outdoor activities were available to check out. Highly recommended for family with kids"

"It was definitely a great price. A little dated and squishy, but everything was nice and clean and there was a communal kitchen with a fridge and freezer where I could store my food. The room and amenities were good for my very basic needs and pocketbook. Free nearby parking included."
