“The child bunk beds did not have a good enough side bars for the top bunk. Our 5 yr old granddaughter could off easily fallen out during the night. Otherwise the hotel was just lovely. Quiet and in beautiful surroundings.”

“The temperature of the shower was not stable, sometimes too cold sometimes too hot. Sound insulation was bad. Overall was not bad.”

“The Prince Consort is a nice local pub which also has rooms for bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, which included very good quality bacon and sausages and all the usual ingredients. The coffee was especially delicious. I was visiting for a family funeral which was catered for there too. The buffet for the wake was also very good.”

Pub has local ales on hand-pull. Spotless clean rooms with daily maid service. Friendly and competent staff. Note that this establishment is located in a residential neighborhood, so no other stores nearby. ”

“When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise. It was a very unfortunate situation. We are from the USA and found out upon arrival in England that our cell phones were not working properly so...
