“An average yet adequate place for a short stay. Location for transport very good. Staff efficient, friendly and non-intrucive. I would consider it again should I return to the local. ”

“I've traveled more than 20 countries and of course stayed many hotels. However, this hotel was the best for our family in terms of services. They had separated restaurants for family and adults (only) so that kids can have more freedom. In front of hotel, there are very well equipped playground for kids as well. Staff members were kind and they booked tours for us as well. Swimming pool and indoor spa are free; but, you should pay extra for outdoor spa. We will definitely come back to...

“Lovely hosts. amazing breakfast. Quiet room. Bathroom a little tired but clean and comfortable. Great views over the Cornish countryside with the sea in the distance. The Travellers Rest just up the road provided excellent evening meal and hospitality. ”

“Right in centre of Newquay, close to Beaches, Main Street and Railway Station. Outside of building does look a bit weather worn but that is probably only to be expected given the location The Bar and Dining area is relatively spacious & the included breakfast was pretty good! Room was smallish, relatively comfortable bed and a clean toilet and shower. Hotel staff were all extremely pleasant!”

“Really enjoyed the stay, staff were helpful, polite and efficient. Fantastic vista from the hotel and room. The interior was clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. As was the indoor swimming pool. Some broken tiles in my bathroom was the only negative. Breakfast was nicely cooked with plenty of choice. Easy access to Fistral beach and Newquay.”

“Clean, comfortable room with en-suite shower. Basic but fine if you need to stay overnight for any reason, Reception staff helpful and friendly. Free parking a plus. Bring toiletries as you only get a sachet of shower gel. I always take my own anyway. Couldn’t find a hairdryer so maybe there isn’t one or maybe you have to ask Reception . ”

“Was only down for a couple of days away. Such a beautiful place that feels like home away from home. Very clean and tidy and a very good breakfast. Owners was lovely, easy to talk to and enjoy conversations with and very accommodating. ”

“Staff were amazing! The hotel is quite dated though so the floors and walls are paper thin so can hear everything going on around your room. Luckily we didnt have anyone too loud either above or next to us so didn't disturb our sleep.”
