"We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. "This resort was a HUGE highlight of my trip to Myanmar. The staff was so friendly and helped in every way that they could. The breakfast was delicious, rooms extremely spacious and perfectly kept grounds. The drinking water was a huge bonus. It is a difficult time right now for they people and they could not have been more thankful that I was there. The tour around the lake was such a unique experience.
