"Great resort but it was huge! For our group, we often needed the golf cart to bring us to meals. Service was great and everyone was friendly. Shopping was available to items to bring home as well as items needed at the resort. We only had one bad experience with the restaurants and it was the food at Cauri, the tapas restaurant in the main lobby area. The waiter was great but the kitchen must have been struggling that night. We had a party of 8 and food was either undercooked or so overcooked you couldn't eat it. This was after waiting an hour at the table to get the first tapas. All of the other restaurants were amazing!"

"If you are looking for a boutique hotel right on the beach, look no farther. You feel like you are in the jungle yet you have the pacific right in front of you. We saw monkeys, iguanas and lots of tropical birds. All the workers go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The service at the restaurant and on the beach was so good. We loved everyone. We were only there 4 days yet they got to know us and our names and treated us like family. The food, drinks (NA and With alcohol), was excellent. We were traveling with our two sons 16 and 19. They loved the bar, pool, and pool table. We also got great massages at the spa. The beach is small and quaint. It felt like a private bay. The water was warm and the bay was very protective. If we had young kids we would have felt very comfortable with them in the water. Not many waves. Highly recommend this exquisite hotel. Thank you for a great stay"

"We stayed in Papagayo for the final night of our honeymoon due to its close proximity to Liberia airport. Upon arrival, we were greeted with ice cold wash cloths and a refreshing drink named “agua de sapo” or frog water. Facility was beautiful and staff was very friendly. We were sad that we didn’t have more time left to enjoy all of their facility and numerous hotel amenities—multiple onsite restaurants, bars, private cabanas, several pools, yoga, gym, billiards, SUPs, nor take in more of their romantic atmosphere."

"Very clean property. Breakfast buffet in the mornings included. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One pool did have a swim up bar that we did not utilize, but the pool was beautiful. (all pools were beautiful)"
