“Quality of the hotel is very good. Rustic rooms in a quiet and central location. We stayed in camelia room and shower doesn't have much ventilation therefore we can see damp and doesn't smell pleasant. We have been charged with 50 euros in the check in for my 5 year old son eventhough he slept in same bed with us and expedia guest policy clearly indicates child is allowed to stay in the room with you. ”

“Stunning property in a wonderful location. However, style over substance with the rooms and service. There is limited room to put anything, as surfaces are covered in ornaments. There was no full length mirror. Grounds were beautiful, but they appeared understaffed, and struggled to meet requests such as extra pillows (as we only got one each), and unable to man the bar when checking in guests etc. Had an unfortunate incident where we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest....

“We had a great stay - place is spotlessly clean, nice decoration and a fabulous breakfast both mornings. Great location for train station, centre etc. Anja is lovely host and nothing is too much trouble - will certainly be back when next in Ostend.”
