“A great place to stay. We were welcomed from arrival and our hosts were friendly and helpful. A small supermarket was only a 2 minute walk. We hired a 2 person scooter to get around and enjoy the island and this is a great way to explore. Snorkelling is a few kms away but fantastic. We would certainly recommend Tropical Sands and hope to go back some day ”

“Really good value. Everything was new or great condition. The kitchen has an air fryer and electric frying pan. The pool is very nice but as we were so close to Black Rock we mostly swam at the beach. The information provided by the hosts prior to our arrival was very useful. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Very enjoyable stay”

“Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. The night market was only steps away which made dining easy when we had no car available. We did rent a Muri Shores vehicle they had available at the...

“A little oasis in lush gardens, a lovely private pool area and all the amenities set up for a perfect laid back island holiday. Neil is a wonderful host and super helpful and friendly. We stayed in the upper level 2 bed apartments which is large, comfortable and perfect to chill on the huge balcony. Just perfect. “We really loved our stay at Mama Tara’s. Was very clean & had most of what we needed. The only problem we had was poor communication, no directions & found no signage. Some lovely locals helped us immensely as it was late at night when we arrived.. Thank goodness! Would definitely stay again xx”
