"Apple Orchard was doing some renovations and construction when I stayed there but I still had a very comfortable stay. It is a great place to acclimatize because it is lower altitude than Leh, so I went straight to Ulleytokpo after flying to Leh. They had delicious healthy food and a comfortable room. After acclimatizing I took some long walks to nearby monasteries that also helped with further acclimatizing, and they had helpful advice on how to catch the bus back to Leh. "Stayed there for 3 nights in July'21. Good hotel. We got a very spacious room, which was very nice. The hotel staff and service was good. Food options at hotel were limited, but reasonably good. Only wish - better hot water supply in the bathroom, and better quality bathroom furnishings would have made it an excellent stay. Overall, a nice hotel run by non-professionals who try to make your stay very comfortable"
