"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "The twin bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated and clean. The room carpets dirty with crumbs. The young woman who checked us in was lovely. The woman who checked us out was not friendly, not busy and still unfriendly. We seemed to be the only guests at hotel but they put us in a room with zero views of anything but a grey wall. "

"The owner was super friendly and accommodated an early check-in asy room was ready. Breakfast was good with a better selection than similar hotels. The room had air conditioning which I appreciated. I didn't try the pool or restaurant, though many people were eating there when I returned from a concert."

"Spacious rooms, beautiful new pool, breakfast okay. Check out at 11am. Characterful building. No air con in rooms, fans were unavailable from reception. Lovely attentive staff but need more staff on site. Dining area needs updating. Overall good value for money. Hotel has huge potential to become 5* with investment."
