The staff were very friendly, the beds comfortable, coffee and tea were available any time, and there was a refrigerator to store our cold food items. Aside from the on-site restaurant, the location was not walking distance from any restaurants or shopping. We had a rental car and drove to the nearby towns, which are only 10 minutes away. "Welcome to the sleepy town of Luneburg. The room was very homey with a/c. This hotel is in a perfect location to go exploring on foot. The selection for breakfast has many good choices. I had the best schnitzel in the restaurant on this trip to Germany. Thankfully this charming town wasn’t destroyed by the war. "
"The rooms are great. View is great. Many good places to dine nearby. Train station right by the hotel. If possible take train to Hamburg. If by car, park the car by the hotel and take public transportation around the city.
