"Reserved the hotel to attend the Newport Boat Show, and the location truly was perfect, within easy walking distance to the events, restaurants, and everything happening in town. Unfortunately, the room itself felt dated and definitely needs an upgrade for the price they charge. Also, be careful with parking. We arrived early knowing our room wouldn’t be ready, but were hit with an extra $50 fee on top of the $35 parking charge simply because we pulled in at 11 AM instead of 2 PM. There were plenty of open spots, so it wasn’t a capacity issue. When I questioned it, the front desk suggested finding street parking and returning at 2 PM, not exactly helpful when thousands of people are flooding Newport. Just be aware of the timing, or you’ll be surprised by extra fees."

"We had a wonderful stay. The property is located in an excellent location. The beach is across the street and their are restaurants within walking distance. Downtown Newport is just minutes away. The property is nice but can use some upgrades. Will definitely return!"

"The room was clean. The housekeeper were great the TV’s could be updated. They did offer a microwave and mini fridge. Coffee maker iron and board hair dryer. Breakfast was a treat. Parking was good."

"My room was immaculate. The carpet smelled new and my shower looked brand new. I may have been the first person to use it. In June I stayed up the road at another hotel that is in the same price range and it was dirty and I wouldn't stay there again. This hotel was doing construction in various rooms. I saw workers hauling around old and new carpet when I was in my room mid day. It's nice to see they are keeping everything fresh. The grounds and landscaping were immaculate. There was plenty of free parking. The hotel is set back from the main drag a little bit, so its quiet and drifters don't come and wander into the lobby, as I saw at the "other" hotel. I didn't try the breakfast because I was already working by the time it was served. I didnt use the pool but it looked clean, and there were several tables to sit at. The wifi worked well. The owner (or manager, or both) was polite and helpful."
