Perfect evening stroll to the beach. Head to the little museum on Northam Burrows and the steps are to the left.

Northam Burrows, Appledore, North Devon. A huge sandy beach with natural pebble ridge made up of thousands of irresistible smooth grey pebbles. You can surf, swim, play in rock pools, build sand castles, BBQ, run, watch the sunset, make a den in the pebbles, play golf and walk your dogs here. It’s a nature reserve too. Lovely!

I love this place, every time come here it feels so homely, it's got a great beach, a great sunset weather permitting and some great pubs and restaurants. Lots of the apartments can be rented out and most have stunning views, I've stayed in a few of them and will continue to do until I hopefully I move here.......
