Top Northern Lower Peninsula Hotel Reviews
Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront Mackinaw City
8/10 Good
"Staff were very friendly and the hotel and beach behind it were beautiful. When we first arrived the rooms smelled freshly cleaned, however by the 2nd day there was a weird musty order in both rooms that seemed to get worse by the 3rd day (our check-out day). Otherwise, the stay was excellent, and we really enjoyed being in walking distance from the stores, restaurants and the Bridge"
Blossom Hotel & Suites Traverse City
10/10 Excellent
"I am grateful to Expedia & staff that a mistaken duplicate billing was rectified. Blossom showed unfailing customer service in erasing the error and making our stay worry free. We got great touring tips from the lady who runs the excellent lobby breakfast."
Grand Beach Resort Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice resort. Good location. Stayed for only one night. Room was clean and in good condition. The staff were friendly. A common theme from the many reviews is that the free breakfast to go was nothing to write home about and I totally agree with that. You would think that for the good money you paid for a room the hotel management would either provide a much better free buffet or just eliminate it and have a restaurant that offers a paid breakfast. Other than that, it was not a deal breaker and I would return if I ever come back to Traverse City."
Park Place Hotel
8/10 Good
"Place is in great need of upgrades/renovation. Exhaust fan didnt work in the bathroom. No hooks for towels. Desk chair was cracked and in horrible shape. The location is great but it needs lots of tlc"
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Traverse City, MI
8/10 Good
"First, i thought the property was difficult to find..it is not well marked and it is surrounded by other bldgs. The staff are beyond helpful & the checkin was flawless. The rooms are ample in size, and have good amenitites but the bathroom is dated. My only big complaint are the beds. Hard as rocks. I had a bad sleep. Breakfast was wonderful..they had everything. I would not likely return because of the beds.. if the beds were replaced i would absolutely return!"
