โI was here for a class reunion. The property is showing it's age. I came through here 40 yrs. ago when it was new but everything worked and the staff is excellent.
When I was leaving, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food, especially the coffee with a great variety. Keep it up.โ
โLoved all the staff we met from front desk to cleaning staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the third floor and you can't take food back to your room but it is a very large dining room that accomodates many. Room was very comfortable. Lots of dead bugs on the balcony but I suppose that's normal. Absolutely loved the view of the beach!โ
โLiked the view of Mackinac Bridge from our balcony. Someone was smoking on their balcony so I couldn't enjoy sitting outside in the fresh air with my morning coffee.
Breakfast area was too small and long line for waffle maker. Didn't use the pool. Room was clean.โ
โOur stay, although regrettably was only one night was absolutely perfect! We definitely will be back and will ask for the same room! Thank you GT Resort!โ
โGreat spot for the price! During the winter I usually stay ant nicer hotels, but during the summer this will be my go-to! Rooms were spacious and clean, bathrooms were a good size, good parking, hot tub (i didnt use but it looked ok) and even a small breakfast. โ
โCleanliness, location, pet friendly (no issues $25.00 per night extra.10 minutes from North Higgens State Park were we had a wedding. Didnt get to use the pool or hottub, but the pool area looked cleanโ
โWhile the rooms are starting to need a little updating, it was clean, neat and comfortable. The property itself offered a lot to do with free kayaks, a fish pond, large yard and inside and outside fire pit. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a nice sized pool and hot tub. Free breakfast in the morning. AND economical!โ
