I came to the area for the Au Sauble river kayaking. The building and room were fairly run down, but it was a good price for basic breakfast and clean sheets. My room's window overlooked the pool area, which seemed to let in a lot of the noise from families / other guests. It had decent amenities for kids.

Unfortunately, the heating system was not working and the temperature dropped into the 40s overnight. The staff came and confirmed that it was not working, but claimed to have no other rooms available. Breakfast offerings were limited to scrambled eggs and sausage, toast, cold cereal and yogurt. Coffee and water for tea were not hot. Our room was clean and recently refurbished. If we’d had heat, I could give them a better rating.

The pool and play area looked fine (we didn't use them) the the room and hallways were pretty rough. Torn curtains, filthy windows, toilet didn't flush properly, bathroom fan didn't function, bedding smelled fusty. Too bad we pre-paid. We really wanted the Day's Inn next door. So do you.

Very nice room and helpful staff. Outside doors left unlocked and maintenance needed outside. l know it's a work in progress and will take some time. Good luck, we really enjoyed our stay!

Staff was helpful and doing what they could with what they had. Had to ask for clean sheets, very understaffed and dirty rooms. Toilet paper was held up with a pen, bed was broken, floor was disgusting, if you are looking for a nice place to stay this is not it.

An older building that can use some more refreshing. The initial room I checked into had a HVAC problem. The staff quickly found me another room with a functional AC. Bed was about average or maybe a little below at the price point. Breakfast had a respectable selection. The shower has magnificent pressure; imagine standing under a waterfall. It is just what the doctor ordered after a long day in the road. Pool looked nice but I didn't get a chance to swim. There's a cute little play ground too. I would say this is a good value for a family.

Terribly ran down! Paid for 2 queens and got doubles instead and was told they’re completely booked and can’t help rectify it. Mean while outside looking in there were tons of rooms available just didn’t get cleaned up by housekeeping which they were lacking as well. Ac unit was leaking onto the carpet with what looked to be greenish blue mold on the trim, with the carpet being wet. Bedding had stains and couldn’t get replaced for 2 hours. Only thing good about this place was the size-able pool that the kids enjoyed. Breakfast was absolutely abysmal! Weird looking eggs, microwaved sausages, and cereal.

The staff was nice and the shower had good pressure. The stairs for door B were very dirty. The lobby restrooms were closed as well as the pool and hot tub. The vent at the grill restaurant was broken so limited menu. But the worst issue was the TV. Every time you changed the channel the TV scrolled because it was downloading. We weren’t able to watch a movie because the screen kept freezing.

The Good; friendly staff, great breakfast The Bad: the bed sheets looked and smelled like they were not changed plus the bed was made haphazardly. Mattress way to soft no support. No hair dryer. The Ugly: carpet was filthy.

This is a typical 2 star motel- I have been to worse and better hotels within this range. The pool and play center were pretty nice. The bathrooms could be updated and a littler cleaner. The staff was friendly, but the building seems short staffed. Someone's ceiling caved in on them while we were there- not sure of the details, just overheard staff discussing it. It seems they have done some updates overtime- like new floors in the bedrooms. Honestly, I would probably stay again.

The staff is very friendly and cleaning ladies do a great job! The carpet is worn, air conditioning did not work, bathroom door did not lock, etc. In cl the lobby two of the bathroom stalls were closed and only one was available. Breakfast is the same every day. Fake eggs and sausage. LImited items. Restaurant closed early.

The restaurant/bar was fantastic....best pizza we've ever had even when it was late & they said only fried foods were available, they made us a spectacular pizza. Front desk seemed uninterested in assisting with our request for more pillows since the two on our beds were flat, on day 2 we were able to catch the friendly housekeeping staff in our hallway and they happily brought us pillows. The outside doors were never locked, but propped open and fans blowing, as if the hotel had no air conditioning maybe? It was dirty & out-dated for sure. Our room did get cool, but took some time. The pool area was nice, playground entertained the kids. Breakfast left something to be desired.

First, I want to state that the staff at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant to work with. That being said, our first room had ants all over the floor, dead and alive. Our second room had the security flap engaged and we couldn't even get in. Our third (and final) room was clean. The furniture looked new and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, however, did not have hot water coming out of the sink faucet. I was told that they are in the middle of renovations.
