“Room was clean but sheets and towels were terrible quality. Cheap polyester bedding and towels were so bad, they should have become rags some time ago. Property very run down. Definitely would not stay again. Expedia rating is not accurate. I have noticed this occurring more often lately. I will be contacting Expedia regarding this concern.”
“The Monterey Motel was very clean and spacious. The bed was firm & the pillows comfortable. I booked very early for the Alburquerque Balloon Festival, so I got an excellent rate. Other family members who booked later paid a bit more. The motel is very quiet until around 6;30am when traffic picks up on Route 66. I would definitely stay here again. It was nice to have the outdoor pool, even though it was a bit chilly in October.”
