We accidentally booked an ADA room the shower was only usable in a chair. They gladly switch our room the next day. Bed was verrry comfy and the room was cozy and updated. The pool was cooking but not too. Cocktails at the bars were pretty spendy but staff was friendly. Walking distance to cute shops and restaurants and to the aquarium and botanical garden. Would stay again.

The Monterey Motel is an unexpected gem near Old Town. It resembles the original structure but has been carefully renovated to perfection and yet remains affordable! The family room was PERFECT for my family of 6 and the 3 additional bathrooms available two doors down were a lifesaver. The pool is appointed with nice chairs and loungers. The only complaint is that the window let in a lot of outside light at night and the people above us were playing hopscotch or wrestling for several hours in the middle of the night which made it hard to sleep, even though the bed was ridiculously comfortable.

Cutest place ever! 50's decor to go along with the Route 66 - 100 year anniversary trip we were on from Michigan, right on neon street! We each got a free token for a free drink from their lobby/bar which I've never seen a place do before 😮🍸🍸 Large room and very comfy king bed. Only .4 miles to walk to the town square. Everything was GREAT!

This place is wonderful! Bartender was awesome and he made the best drinks. Check in and out was easy as well right at lobby bar area. The lounge they have with a kitchen and TV area and patio and free laundry was awesome addition if you need that. In room coffeemaker and charging station on both sides of bed with reading lights were appreciated!!
