"Just enough off the beaten paths of busy downtown Cannon Beach to make the stay quite enjoyable. A five minute walk to the north dunes of Cannon Beach or the same to the northern end of Cannon Beach (a small creek/river separates the two) makes this venue a great lodging choice.
It is also quite close to the city park and its play structure for the kids and tennis and other activities for the entire family.
And, Ecola State Park, the viewpoint and then the Indian Creek beach nearby are hidden secrets of north Cannon Beach. A fifteen minute drive from the Ecola Lodge is worth the effort."
"Booked this hotel because it had an EV charging here. Tried to hook up to the Tesla chargers they had and couldn’t get any of them to work. Tried 3 different chargers."
"Although the hotel is a bit older, it has so much charm and character. You can tell it has been renovated, and everything was spotless and very well maintained.
The sofa bed was surprisingly one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on—soft, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The fireplace worked perfectly, and the hotel even provided a fire log, which made the evenings extra relaxing.
The ocean view was beautiful, and the beach is just a very short walk away. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Cannon Beach, with restaurants, shops, and attractions all within walking distance.
One thing worth noting is that an Ocean View room is not the same as an Oceanfront room. You still have a lovely view of the ocean, but the room is not directly on the beachfront.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back."
"We had a wonderful stay. All of the employees were excellent & the view from our room was incredible! We loved the fresh baked cookies each day, & the firewood & supplies for making s’mores on the beach was so nice."
