“Superb accommodation and excellent food”

“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”

“We booked to stay at the Nag’s Head entirely by chance because it is 5 miles or so from the place where we were going to pick up our new puppy! After a 5 hour drive from Newcastle the pub staff gave a friendly welcome. We were so glad that we hadn’t stopped to eat. Turns out this is a Gastro pub without the Gastro prices. Incredible food and array of beers. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was also amazing. Fantastic staff, little gem of a village pub. ”

“We spent 2 fabulous nights here. Don and Aylwin were lovely. Allowed us to arrive early to make the most of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were perfect and they catered for my vegan daughter which was great. If we ever return to Norwich, this is where we would want to stay.”

“I was there for a night on business, the apartment was close to the town and had guides for the area, had Netflix, a fridge and breakfast items as well as a coffee machine. Very spacious large”

“We were made to feel very welcome. The food is excellent, local suppliers clearly listed. Extensive wine list. Outside area for drinks and dinner is attractive. Very friendly staff We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area. ”

“This is our second visit to The Dairy Barns, so that just shows you just how lovely it is staying there , the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble , the cleaniless is outstanding and the breakfasts are the best freshly cooked to order and plenty of other options fresh fruit, cereal toast fantastic ,”
