"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "We loved our stay at Villas Verdes. Perfect location- close to town and beach. Loved the private outdoor space and a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Kids loved the pool and we appreciated the boogie boards and pool toys available for beach and pool. The staff were great. There was always someone cleaning and maintaining the property and beautiful tropical gardens. We’d definitely stay here again."

"The Silvestre is a beautiful boutique hotel, perfectly located in Guiones, just across from the beach and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and cute grocery stores. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The rooftop lounge, coffee bar, and pool are a great place to sit back and relax. Definitely deserving of its Michelin rating! They even give you a goodbye gift of delicious local coffee. Angel, Israel, and Paul are a joy to interact with....
