Very nice hotel at the southern end of Noumea. Has a Spa that has over 13 different aquatic jets with temperature of 32 to 34c, however cannot use with boxer swimmers. Need to be speedo type. Great views of the sea. Even have a wine shop! Downside was building construction work being undertaken across the road.

Great location and rooms. The hotel should have happy hours each day to encourage people to have a drink at the hotel. The beach was clean and patrolled which was good. Its a short walk to resturants and supermarkets.

Fully equipped kitchen, ocean and pool views. Beautiful hotel with great staff. Quiet and peaceful. Only downside is that the “French” spa (which looks awesome btw) requires little tight swimmer shorts to enter, perhaps normal for French but others countries we didn’t usually wear it.

The team at the Chateau Royal were all so lovely and helpful, they really were amazing to deal with! The room was spacious and super clean, the only downside was the bed which was a little hard but they were able to add a topper that made it a little better. The pool was warm and inviting, but one of the best parts was the AquaSpa, just a phenomenal environment to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing! The steam room, sauna and massive spa pools were perfectly maintained and clean.

Perfect spot

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, walkable to island boats, literally on the beach for swimming and snorkelling. The aquatonic spa was incredible, a great feature of this iconic resort.

The staff went out of their way to help us. The Spa with Ocean views and fresh air was So relaxing....especially after multiple airline and taxi delays. Snorkeling within the shark net did allow me to see some good fish.

Fantastic stay, great hotel. One bedroom hotel room perfect for stay with a young child. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Very short walk to nearby Anse Vata beach and restaurants. Really enjoyed the Aquatonic pool inside of the hotel spa, this was luckily included in our room rate.
