“Nous avons vraiment passé un très agréable séjour chez Isabelle. Tout était parfait, de notre accueil, en passant par la qualité de la literie, la propreté impeccable et les petits déjeuners très copieux. “The room was ok, but missed airconditioning. The staff is not very helpful and they only speak French, they even do not try to speak English or try to help you. When you run a hotel and only speak French that is not the way to do. Food is good, taste and quality.”

“I love the quirkiness of this hotel which is also a bar & a tabac. It’s typically local French establishment with no pretensions. The dinner & breakfast is of a good standard & satisfying. The bedrooms are clean & somewhat eccentric, so it helps if you have a sense of humour. It’s right on the D393 which is a fantastic biking road between Bar sur Aube & Dijon. I use it at least twice a year, so will be back soon. ”

“Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling...
