While everything about the hotel experience was great, nothing stood out more than the owners Grant and Trudy Smith. Grant is one of those people who makes you feel like you've been friends for years even though you only met a few minutes ago. Trudy was just as personable. Whether it be getting restaurant recommendations or borrowing bikes to ride on the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, they were always ready to be helpful.

Very nice hotel with beautiful decorations, convenient location, and friendly staffs. The experience was excellent; the stay made me feel I was owning the place. Nice feeling of being back home.

This was probably my favorite hotel of my entire trip in New Zealand. It was spacious and clean with modern amenities. The restaurant also had really good food too so I didn't mind having breakfast and dinner there. It is also located in the perfect part of New Plymouth. Close to everything.
