"The room and grounds were very good as expected, however the breakfast was below par compared to other similar hotels offering a breakfast. Selections were limited and generally not as well prepared as other properties of similar type."

"Check in staff not very friendly. Room was very clean upon arrival. I wish they still offered daily housekeeping but the staff was very prompt if anything was needed. Love the amenities per usual. I think the management should get a better handle on advertisements for take out being left on guest doorstep. They were scattered all over the hallways. Would stay again but please give better customer service training to front desk."

"This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. From the very beginning the staff was very accommodating. Each and everyone one from housekeeping to management was phenomenal. The housekeeper with all the teddy bears on her cart was so bomb, she had great customer service and hospitality. She stopped what she was doing to get us towels. Always asking in passing if we needed anything. Management allowed us to check in early. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful no matter what time it was. The hotel was so clean and it so smelled good from the lobby to the hallways upstairs. Even maintenance was quick and accommodating. The other guests were even friendly. My family really enjoyed our stay and we come to the bench often but always stay on north Myrtle so this was our first time staying on this side of the beach and the only reason I would come back to this side of the beach is because of this hotel and only if I can make reservations at this hotel."

"The location was excellent. The checking was smooth and easy. The actual unit B351 was clean but looked old and needs updating. The popcorn ceilings are brown and popping off from prior visible water damage. The worst thing about this unit was the master bedroom. The TV is to the left of the bed so you can’t see it unless you lay in your side. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. There was a cinder block underneath holding it up. Maybe one person would be comfortable if they wanted to sleep in the huge dip in the middle that both people roll into no matter what."
