Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

"The room is on the small side but we knew this and is absolutely fine for a city trip. We did feel we may have found a bit more storage space helpful. The room did smell a little damp but think that’s a consequence of not being able to open any windows and having air con. Breakfast is fine but wouldn’t rush to have it, although they did cater for my gluten free needs. The location of the hotel was also ideal for getting to all areas of the city. On the whole, the hotel was good and would recommend to friends coming to Tokyo."

"We stayed in a corner room which was very spacious, especially compared to other Tokyo hotels. Great location to stay when visiting Tokyo. Although, the room we stayed in did feel a little dated. Housekeeping staff were excellent. Our room was beautifully refreshed to an immaculate standard every day. Lawson convenience store in the basement of the hotel was very useful. Be warned that the facilities including the swimming pool and hot spring / spa are an extra fee which is a shame for a 5* hotel. There is also an additional charge to sit at a table with a Tokyo Tower view in the hotel bar. Check-in and check-out process took a long time. Note for Expedia VIP Access customers: We were not offered an upgrade at check-in, even though several other room types were still showing as available to book for the length of our stay."

"Clean room. There are not enough washers and dryers for entire hotel use. I have been 2 times during stay to wait for washer and dryer at least 2 hours for my turn and wait extra 2 to 3 hours to complete a load of my laundry for complete my dry clean clothing. Otherwise, staffs are helpful"

"Great location, you can walk to Terminal 3. Also, you can access subway easily. Friendly staff, you can store your luggages before check in at 3 pm."

"The hotel is incredible! Our room was ready early so we managed to check in earlier than planned which was ideal to make the most of our stay. The room was spacious and view was stunning, we had breakfast each day and there was a variety to choose from. If we go back to Tokyo, we would love to stay here again."
Shinagawa Prince Hotel

"Great location as it’s only a few mins walk from Shinagawa station. There is a 7-eleven in the building too and on site bowling and darts. For the price we paid I would’ve expected sleepwear, but it’s understandable as they host so many people. Expect the hotel to be busy with lots of people. Rooms and washrooms are big which is nice to have. The Main Tower rooms look older though. Overall, great location and very convenient."
