Oiseaux Island, France hotel rooms at the Independent

This is a lovely hotel with great staff and a fantastic breakfast. Centrally located in Arcachon.

Wonderful staff, each member was efficient, helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast was a good choice with healthy options.

Great base for the region

No parking, had to walk down a steep slope to the main entrance and desk.

This "apartment hotel" is the newest and most modern in Arcachon. The location right at the central Plaza is excellent, with shops and restaurants all around. The beach is only 2 short blocks away. It is apartment-style, meaning there is no room service or typical hotel services. The staff is very friendly and happy to give advice. Comfortable bed, everything very clean, nice bathroom, the garden in perfect condition, very friendly and helpful owners, a dog which we would have liked to take home, a nice heated pool, quiet area but easy to reach a supermarket. We will go there again.

This is a beautiful well kept property with extraordinary hospitality extended by the Proprietor Alain and his wife and son and staff. They offer a very traditional French experience, from the accommodation to the aperitif to the petit dejeuner. It was magnificent and we cannot wait to visit again. We wouldn't change a thing about this hotel or this visit!

The owners were very welcoming. Room was great and breakfast was outstanding!

Beautiful apartment above a top- notch restaurant. Our only complaint would be that we never received an email about how to access the apartment and needed to go into the restaurant to find the property manager. No exercise facilitires on the property ( would be a nice touch).

Nice clean and relaxing

Appreciated being able to rent a bike to ride to nearby Dune du Pilat and the town of Arcachon. Additionally, the on-site restaurant had good food and friendly service.
