It is perfect place for trip with family.
I will visit again soon!!!
One of the best hotels we ever stayed. It's spacious and hotel staffs are friendly and attentive.. however, all the restaurants are next door at Amane Seikai. So all your meals have to be taken there. It's a bit troublesome though.
Breakfast is great.. simple and healthy. We had dinners at seafood restaurant and Japanese restaurant for 2 days. Price is very reasonable. Food is ok. Recommend you to eat at the hotel instead of travelling out.
Wonderful stay at this ryokan onsen hotel overlooking the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed watching sunrise, while soaking in our private onsen bath from the balcony of our room.
Amazing hotel with awesome beach view and hot spring! Super large room and the food is also amazing. It's not a very convenient location so it's better to drive by your own, other than that it's great. will definitely want to stay again!
Excellent property with fantastic sea views. Very co-ordial staff and helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the resort. The maisonnette where we stayed at, had breathtaking views of the Beppu bay especially during sunrise. It also had private onsens which were very well maintained giving us a great way to experience onsens! Having said that, I do think that having cold milk vending machines would definitely add to the onsens experience.
Great view and loved the onsen overlooking the sea. If possible should have better TV programme allowing international language selection. Or allow one to login into their Netflix.
It has beautiful ocean view. sparkling clean. We saw some bugs like spiders in the room and restaurant.
It was embarrassing that I couldn't choose the dinner course. even I could pay extra charge.
We booked a tower room on 8th Floor with private hot spring in the room. The room size is like an apartment that has a living, western bedroom, kitchenette, tatami, bathroom and ocean view balcony. The bath area also has shower and open air hot spring tub that Springs from natural source. Tub is large enough for 4 persons and it offers a view of the ocean bay.
Staff service are excellent courteous and very helpful and can speak English as well. Room is meticulously clean, spotless, thoughfully and artfully designed. We selected breakfast and kaiseki dinner. Breakfast are delicious buffet style with western and Japanese dishes. Kaiseki meals are such an experience. The presentation of each dish is so pretty. We found sashimi fish dish on certain selections like sea bream, horse mackerel fish very tough and chewy although we are sashimi lovers and quite familiar in this end. We wish there were more varieties of other seafood like crab or scallops or uni in the sashimi. The wagyu beef in the Shabu shabu and sukiyaki are excellent grade. It melts in your mouth. With a room in the tower booking, we were offerd lounge club access with beer wine beverages and appetizers in the afternoon and are night.
Overall, the experience surpasses what we expected. It was a pleasant stay and we will surely come back.
Great onsen in the room. Very handsome property. Food option was over at the other sister property which is slightly inconvenient and the properties are a little outside the center of Beppu.
Omg our stay at amane gahama was beyond exceptional!! It took my breath away!! Our ocean view villa came with its own roten buro ( one hot spring bath tab outside and another inside). The breakfast buffet (included in price) was exceptional!! They had both western style, and Japanese style breakfast. They were also taking covid safety measures seriously. All guests had to wear vinyl gloves when they were going to get foods. Masks were required when we were not dining, and etc. We also ate dinner at one of their restaurants. Food there was excellent as well. The hotel staff were very nice, too. We will definitely stay at amane gahama again if we ever come back to visit Beppu:)
