Hi Jason, We appreciate your business & thank you for being our guests most recently. As you've mentioned, we're a perfect hotel for date night & weekend getaways! So, for anyone looking to 'treat' their sweetie, we're a great little spot, in the heart of dining, shopping & entertainment. We don't have a pool or waterslide on site, but due to our proximity to the theatre, arena, sports complexes...City Park and the beautiful beach in summertime, families find us a comfortable & convenient place to stay. It really comes down to what your needs & preferences are. There's a perfect place & fit for everyone! Thanks Jason! We hope we can welcome you again in future :)

Hi Jim,Please keep in mind that our hotel (and parkade) was built in the mid-70's, when not as many people drove & parking wasn't quite in the demand, it is nowadays.With that said, in addition to the stalls we have in our underground, the hotel has an overflow lot, behind the building, that can accommodate pick-up trucks. In regard to your observations about the plaster 'being cracked & a big chunk falling off', I've just gone into the guest room to view the damage. I'm not exactly certain what happened in there, but the wall appears to have been cut into somehow & a piece of gyproc was actually torn out. Why, I simply can't imagine, but I will have my maintenance team repair the damage & appreciate that you reported it, prior to my housekeeping team discovering it. Also, as follow up I have reminded my housekeepers to keep their eyes on the corners of the bed platforms, while making beds.Thank you for the reminder! In response to your observations regarding recycling of plastics in our breakfast room, please note that we are very environmentally aware & have made intent effort to reduce our use of plastics in our breakfast room. We use real plates, cups, bowls & stainless-steel cutlery, rather than plastic utensils. I believe the two items we have in our breakfast room that's disposable plastic, are yogurt containers & plastic glasses for water & juice. Now that we're having the discussion, I've requested a recycle bin be placed in the breakfast room & will approach my Chef to order reusable plastic glasses. Thank you for 'planting that seed'.Incidentally, behind the scenes, in both the kitchen & banquet room areas & guest rooms, we recycle pretty much everything.
