Top Old Erie Canal Historic State Park Hotel Reviews
Sleep Inn & Suites Syracuse Airport
10/10 Excellent
"It is a well-maintained, clean, pleasant hotel. I love that it has a shuttle service to and from the airport. That was a big draw. We had a 6 AM flight and the service started at 4 AM.
One thing they don’t tell you if you are a choice member until afterwards, they waive the fee for the shuttle. At least one of the ways we only used it once.
We had used a different hotel coming into Syracuse and had to use an Uber, which seemed to be very expensive for the short amount of time we needed it. The shuttle service is a great amenity!
Highly recommend this hotel."
"For this price point I was pretty blown away by the property. It was really cute, well-maintained, and extremely clean. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Great little motel."

8/10 Good
"This hotel was a surprisingly luxurious option at a reasonable price. The front desk staff was helpful and things would have gone smoothly but for the lack of any luggage carts. I was told the carts were probably in use so I waited in the lobby for one to reappear. In the meantime the front desk got busy and my wait started to feel infinite. After the rush I reminded the gentleman at the desk I was waiting for a luggage cart and some staff were sent to try to find one, unsuccessfully. Finally a staff member helped us physically carry our bags to the elevator and our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Climate issues mentioned in other reviews were avoided in our room by an efficient portable air conditioner. The room had a nice fridge and microwave, very fast wifi, and a reasonably nice bathroom. Throughout the hotel there was renovation underway; it looks like maybe Wyndham acquired the property and was bringing it up to standards--this probably accounts for the rate being so affordable. We slept well and found a luggage cart in the lobby in the morning. They might want to get a couple more. There also was a pretty good hot breakfast. We'd stay here again."
"Overall the hotel is very nicely maintained. The foyer and restaurant/bar areas in particular are the best parts. The fitness room is also a nice size and very convenient to be open 24 hours.
However, we were not as happy with our room. We arrived later than check-in and although the hotel’s website indicated it was renovated recently, this did not include the two rooms we were given. Although I had requested a higher floor and quiet room I received a lower floor above the patio and electrical unit which droned all day and night. Apparently the hotel was at capacity and we were given the last room which had a faulty light in the bathroom. When I called for maintenance they had no one on staff to fix it and offered a 2nd room beside it? It was not well maintained - stained carpets, shoddy carpet tape, holes in washroom wall not patched up, shower soap dispenser holder not replaced, stains around toilet, bedding that did not fit mattress and we were forgotten when we asked to have our room cleaned while away.
Unfortunately, it all seemed we were not very welcome coming in later than check-in."
"For a 2 and a 1/2 star hotel it was runner like a 5 star hotel. It exceeded expectations of what everyone was writing in the reviews. Only thing little must smell. But everyone was very polite and helpful AC was excellent. So was the breakfast. Bathroom was very small
Would stay here again"
