“Great apartment at Friary but our room was on 3rd floor with no elevator which could be a struggle for some. ”

There is also a lovely little patio area at the back (although unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to enjoy it) The owner is also very responsive with getting back to any messages Slight negatives - access code wasn't sent in advance (although they did reply immediately when I messaged to request it). “We had a lovely few days in Painswick at the Cotswold lodge. The lodge is spacious, modern, full functional with everything you need for a holiday. The location is perfect for the Cotswolds as a base and painswick is a lovely quiet village with pubs and a small store. We would recommend this location but it is very hilly so you either have to be able to walk or drive a car. Rococo gardens is really interesting.”
