“This is a lovely property in an incredible setting. It has its own white rhinos that come right up to the water hole just by the (rather cold!) pool (maybe cover the pool at night??). We were gob-smacked by this. The chalets are beautifully appointed and are huge with outdoor showers and a terrace overlooking the reserve. Ik heb in januari al geboekt, omdat ik een melkallergie heb. Dit was geen probleem zeiden ze. We verbleven 2 nachten en voor het ontbijt moest ik gewone boterhammen vragen met jam, want alle eigerechten werden allemaal in boter gebakken. ‘s Avonds heb ik over 2 avonden 4 gerechten gekregen met kaas, melk en/of boter.
Ik kreeg geen vervangende groenten, geen ander dessert. Erg slordig toch?...
“This review is for Epacha Lodge and not Eagle Tented Lodge. They are on the same property, but i was upgraded to Epacha lodge.
The property really has a lot of charm with colonial architecture. You can see wildlife while being at the restaurant, which serves delicious food. The rooms are spacious, with balcony and outdoor showers.
You can go to Etosha Park with 1h drive; a guided safari in Etosha is a must-do activity.
Massages are great too.
The staff is really adorable.”
