Everything great and perfect, satisfied all. Facilities and amenities are high end. All staffs are professional and very kindness. Strongly recommend Halekulani.
Everything was just amazing. Staff, location, facilities, just spectacular. We celebrated our honeymoon there, could not have asked for anything more. Higly recommend this hotel!
One of the best hotels in Japan. Impecable customer service, clean modern facilities and a beautiful property all the way around. Very efficient security on the property despite Okinawa being relatively safe. The breakfast buffet had a ton of western and Japanese breakfast options, all of which were delicious! The rooms were clean, large, and very modern with an awesome ocean view. Would definitely stay here again next time in Okinawa.
What doesn’t stand out? The staff was amazing, the whole hotel is impeccable, the amenities are great! I absolutely loved this and we booked another stay before we had left!
Phenomenal stay. 5* and excellent hospitality. Do not hesitate to go to Okinawa, the people, the history, the food, cleanliness, it's unbelievable, we stayed a week and could have easily stayed another month. Thank you Halekulani!!
From the moment we were dropped off to the seamless check-in and the staff personally walking us to our room, we were blown away. The hospitality, friendliness, and attentiveness were truly exceptional. We absolutely loved this hotel. The food was amazing; though a few more options on the menu would make it even better. Ooohh and the spa was absolutely amazing. We all got massages today’s in a row…Yamada was my masseuse and she was beyond excellent!
Unforgettable stay at Halekulani Okinawa
Our stay at Halekulani was nothing short of perfect. From the warm, attentive staff to the elegant design and pristine facilities, everything was handled with care and precision. We stayed in the Sunset Wing for our honeymoon, and the ocean view, peaceful atmosphere, and thoughtful touches made it truly special.
The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with smart storage and a private balcony. Dining was a highlight – especially the 10-course meal at Shiroux, where service paused so we could watch the sunset. Breakfast at House Without a Key offered an amazing selection of top-quality dishes and fresh juices.
We loved the adults-only infinity pool and the luxurious spa with onsen and deep tissue massage – one of the best we’ve had. Every detail was flawless. We’re already planning to return for our anniversary.
I had the pleasure of staying at Halekulani Okinawa as part of a five-week tour of Japan. While I originally booked Halekulani as a short personal break, I was completely blown away by the experience.
From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The front desk team made check-in effortless, even during a busy time, and every team member I encountered from housekeeping to the breakfast staff, pool team and beyond was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The level of consistency across the board was truly remarkable.
But it was the team at SHIROUX that left the deepest impression. I dined there twice and can confidently say it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. The dishes were imaginative, perfectly balanced, and deeply thoughtful—worthy of Michelin star recognition. The service was flawless on both visits, with special thanks to the exceptional Dave and the warm reception team who made every moment feel personal.
A particular highlight was the bar experience, where Mai Seike crafted cocktails that rival the very best I’ve had anywhere—London, New York, Tokyo, you name it. Her creations were complex, original, and utterly unforgettable.
Halekulani has proven that even a large-scale resort with over 300 rooms can still deliver five-star hospitality with soul. I would highly recommend a visit.
The room was incredible. Staff was phenomenal and always helpful. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey for the food, but besides that, everything was better than expected.
This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very kind. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast choice was excellent. Unfortunately the weather was bad during our stay so the swimming pools were closed, but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area especially if you have a car.
It was a beautiful place with a wide ocean view. They provided multiple activities to enjoy Okinawa at the site and I really recommend to try them especially snorkeling.
One of the best experiences we had so far (and we travel a lot). First up: I would recommend the sunset wing rooms, where we stayed at, the two decent restaurants Shiroux and Aomi are there as well. There is an „adult only pool“, woth great sunset view - we lovey it. The hotel is maybe 1 hour away from the airport by cab/car, but it‘s thereafter a quite convenient location to get around the island. What we loved was how well the hotel was kept (very modern rooms), as well as the amazing personnel. We will definitely come back, and we can highly recommend the sunset wing for couples.
