"The staff at this hotel bend over backwards to accommodate any request! And the views over the town and across the water to the many islands in the area are the best we saw. Truly you won’t go wrong with this small, lovely hotel!"

"We absolutely loved this place. It was by far our favorite stay during our 10 days in Japan. Definitely recommend spending extra on the dinner, it was amazing."

"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "

"Very tidy little hotel with small rooms but very comfortable beds and very friendly staff. The hotel in adjacent to a supermarket and across the road from train station, very convenient location, would definitely stay again next year. "

"Worst night of my life. There was an alarm bell going off 5 times during the night, so I hardly had any sleep at all. When I finally gave up and left at 5am, there was nobody in the reception, otherwise I would have demanded a full refund."

"Very nice and well equipped studio. Walking distance from the port, good place to stay if you need a place to stay before/after the Shimanami Kaido bike trip."
"Fantastic minimalist style hotel overlooking the harbour. Great views from bar and main rooms. On site onsen! The food is absolutely amazing - proper local foods beautifully prepared and presented. Treat yourself to dinner and a breakfast. And the staff are wonderful. Note you will need to use a taxi frequently but that shouldn’t cost more than 1400 yen each way. There are also rooms for those with bikes"
"Stayed in the double (nom dormitory) room. It was excellent. Very modern clean and Japanese. Let us leave luggage early after arriving before check in for for free also.
Breakfast the next day was also really good. "
"We stayed at this hotel as it was conveniently placed to pick up rental bikes at the port. Staff were great on check in, and they organised luggage transfer for us. Room was lovely. Breakfast was a set Japanese breakfast, beautifully presented, plus options of yogurt and eggs and fruit.
A couple of restaurants on site . A few places to eat around the hotel and a courtesy bus to the station (or a 10 minute walk). Supermarket and chemist nearby"
"Fan in unit did nothing, temperature was too warm to be comfortable. Usual snore-a-thon on the men’s side. They could have spaced guests out better rather than concentrating in same area. Ran out of towels by 8:00 am "
"The view was amazing, staff was great. We really wnjoyed the lou ge for guests and also used the laundry area. Room had everything we needed and more. Definetely recommend this location. "
"This hotel was perfect for my needs- a quick, no-frills place to stay before a bike adventure. The location is perfect, right across the street from bike rental and ferry. A tasty, traditional breakfast in the morning too!"
"The place is OLD, in poor conditions, stuck in 1970s badly in need of a renovation to bring it up to today' standards.
Do not stay there unless you had to like I did - emergency! "
