“We stopped here when driving to Germany from UK. It was excellent. A perfect stop off with great rooms (decor ridiculously over the top but funny and comfortable rather than mad). Restaurant great. Grounds great. And you can drink the wine from their vineyards (which we did). I don’t know why this place would exist where it does or how it survives, but the restaurant was packed - must be the place to eat for the locals.”

“Hotel is a lovely. Parking onsite so handy. On site restaurant excellent with a good choice of menu. Rooms are well sized and bathrooms large. Buffet breakfast delicious from continental to cooked. Staff friendly and their spoken English was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re travelling in Belgium.”

“An old world hotel surrounded by a lovely pond and wild vegetation. Quiet enough to hear the frogs at night and the birds in the morning. Beds roomy and firm, helpful owner, decent breakfast, close to town and bike paths. Our room had huge windows that opened to the courtyard and pond below. Enjoyed our stay very much.”

“Mooi, rustig hotel in het centrum van Bree. We hadden 1 overnachting geboekt voor een huwelijk in de buurt. ik had een studio geboekt want de gewone kamers waren volboekt. Bleek dat de studio een heel appartement was met een eettafel, megagrote badkamer, 4 bedden en zelfs een dakterras! Bij aankomt op de kamer was het wel bloedheet, de airco werkte niet en bleek dat ze de afstandsbediening kwijt waren... dit werd echter direct opgelost door de airco manueel in te stellen zodat we toch fris...

“It was an absolutely wonderful stay. Our family traveled from Korea and were warmly welcomed by the hostess upon our late arrival. The private building was clean, well-maintained, and provided a quiet, cozy retreat for our family. Everything was spotless and meticulously cared for. The breakfast was also excellent. If we ever return to Belgium, we will definitely stay here again. The service was better than any 5-star hotel my family has stayed in before. I highly recommend this place.”

“De kamer stonk, dit kwam van de vloerbedekking. Receptie is niet te bereiken, personeel was moeilijk te vinden in het hotel. Ontbijt was niet om 7 uur, expliciet gevraagd of we om kwart voor 8 konden ontbijten, er werd ja gezegd maar om 8 uur stond nog niet alles klaar. ”
