Das Personal u. die Besitzerinnen waren sehr zuvorkommend u. freundlich.Das Frühstück und die Speisen absolute Spitzenklasse. Das Zimmer sauber, gepflegtg u. Ordentlich. Im der Dusche wäre ein Brausekopf von besserer Qualität sehr von Nöten. Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bereich des Waschbeckens sind sehr gering u. sind unserer Ansicht notwendig.

The location is amazing and the hotel room large, clean and welcoming. We were ok but the stairs to the room may be s problem to some. That said our stay was great and the food in the restaurant fabulous. Michael was excellent and service superb. Loved our stay and the lovely walks into the Black Forest.

Visit to Black Forest

We stayed three nights in Gasthof Blume. It is located just outside Oppenau, a lovely setting with walks up to the falls starting just outside and a stream running nearby. Good free parking, reception is in the bar/restaurant and staff do speak English. Our room was excellent, quite large, very comfortable, well furnished with plenty of cupboard space. The en-suite is roomy and seemed to have been recently updated. We also had a small balcony. Breakfast was typically continental buffet and had a good range including fruit. We ate in for two nights, the food was good quality and wholesome, helpings were too large for us so we only had mains and coffee. Overall very good quality in a lovely setting.

Gemütlicher Gasthof. Abgelegen aber mit Auto kein Problem. Hat jedoch auch eine Bushaltestelle ganz in der Nähe. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Preis / Leistung stimmt.

The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating and the room was spacious, comfortable and spotless! Wow! What can be said about the breakfast buffet?! Beyond expectations! Everything was beautifully presented, tasty and reasonably priced. For a relaxing and restful experience of the Black Forest, away from touristy busy-ness, you won't be disappointed here!

Wonderful family run hotel in the Black Forest. The restaurant was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Room was very comfortable and clean. View from the balcony was very nice. Internet was strong. Plenty of parking. It was a great start to our 20 day trip thru France, Spain and Portugal after the flight in from Texas..

Dieser herrlich gelegene Gasthof bietet nicht nur große, saubere Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick in die Natur, sondern auch hervorragendes, hausgemachtes Essen, einen familiären Service und ein abwechslungsreiches, liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstücksbuffet. We were just passing through from Munich to Reims. We knew it was off season for hiking but wanted to see the area. It was great. Clean, comfortable, some of best food I’ve ever experienced in Germany! We will be back when we can spend more time!

A wonderful hotel!

We arrived in the pouring rain, and were made to feel extremely welcome in this beautifully cosy traditional hotel. The hosts were lovely, and the room was really clean and comfortable. A great hotel for families - they have thought of little touches like games and toys for children, and the rooms are well equipped, and have individual balcony areas. The food was outstanding. Our evening meal was by far the best of our entire road trip, and breakfast was excellent. Loved this hotel and we decided on the spot to make it part of next years trip too.

Absolutely loved this hotel!

The location, the staff, the food , the scenery, the walking trails, the room size, the room cleanliness and everything else were wonderful and made this one of my favorite places to stay. The only down side is that the entire nearby town of Oppenau seems to shut down at 5:00 PM (17:00). Fortunately the hotel has a very nice restaurant. Loved the breakfast. The hiking trails which go directly through the hotel property provided a beautiful Black Forest experience.

A perfect hotel, had the best time!

This is a perfect Black Forest Hotel! The staff is wonderful and worm, the restaurant has delicious food. Everything was just excellent, we had the best time, and this place is highly recommended!!
